Well I've been forced to read Mark Twain by my english teacher. But most of his short stories aren't to bad, lots of satire anyways.
We just finished reading "The Diary of Adam and Eve" which is pretty great because it made fun of society and all.

Currently reading Gulliver's Travels, unabridged version, complete with all the original satire. A 300 year old story that has aged remarkably well.
Almost everyone has heard of this story and think they know what it is about, but hardly anyone has actually read it, and trust me, it is not at all like you think it will be!

I'm re-reading Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time" series. I'm on the fourth one, "The Shadow Rising." He's supposed to be finishing this series up with the next book... but his health is getting poor. I really hope he finishes.
Will probally continue reading through Terry Goodkind's series next.

Finished reading this a while ago...great book. I recommend reading American Gods first...not really necessary, but it gives you a better understanding of Anansi going in.

Great, I'll add it to my list!
Since last posting, I've finished reading:
Anansi Boys - Neil Gaiman
Attack of the Bacon Robots! - Penny Arcade
Epic Legends of the Magic Sword Kings! - Penny Arcade
Toothpaste For Dinner: Hipsters, Hamsters, and Other Pressing Matters - Drew
Currently reading:
His Majesty's Dragon - Naomi Novik
I'm about a third of the way through and it is excellent. And there's two more books in the series! Excitement, I express thee.
On an aside, my wife has her own book blog thing...Bookmark My Heart. She loves to read and talk about books, she posts 1-2 reviews a week. Just thought someone might find her reading selection interesting. The name of the blog is a play off of Mötley Crüe's Kickstart My Heart. She's a big Mötley Crüe fan. As am I.
